Maharashtra Governor Announces ₹21,000 Crore Distributed to Women Under Ladki Bahin Scheme

Aiming to propel women empowerment: Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan has disclosed that approximately 2.46 crores women have been benefited to the tune of ₹21,000 crores under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana from July to December 2024. This scheme under the previous government is providing financial benefits to women from families whose annual income goes below ₹2.5 lakh and, in turn, gets a monthly allowance of ₹1,500. This has been a major milestone in assisting underprivileged women all over the state.
