Maharashtra HSC Exams Begin Smoothly Amid Tight Security

The Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 board examinations for 2025 commenced today without any reported errors. Over 15 lakh students are participating in the exams, which will run from February 11 to March 11, 2025. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has implemented strict security measures to prevent cheating and ensure smooth conduct of the exams. Section 144 has been imposed at 3,373 exam centers across the state, prohibiting gatherings of four or more people near exam venues. The exams are being held in two shifts: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Students are required to bring their admit cards and valid school IDs to the exam halls.
