Marico's Vietnamese Acquisition Approved: Beauty X Merger with MSEA Finalized

Marico Limited has announced that Vietnamese authorities have approved the merger of Beauty X Joint Stock Company with Marico South-East Asia Corporation (MSEA). This approval marks the successful completion of Marico's acquisition of Beauty X, which was initially announced in December 2022. The merger strengthens Marico's presence in Vietnam's personal care market, adding premium brands Purité de Prôvence and Ôliv to its portfolio. The Rs 172 crore ($20.91 million) deal expands Marico's footprint in the female beauty and personal care segment in Vietnam. With this merger, Marico aims to leverage operational synergies and accelerate growth in the Vietnamese market, furthering its international expansion strategy.
