MRPL Appoints Devendra Kumar as Director (Finance) and CFO

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has appointed Devendra Kumar as Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kumar, previously serving as Group General Manager (Finance & Accounts) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), was recommended for the position by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) in December 2024. This appointment follows the departure of Vivek Tongaonkar, who resigned as MRPL's CFO in July 2024 to join ONGC as Director (Finance). Kumar's extensive experience in financial management is expected to contribute significantly to MRPL's financial strategy and performance in the evolving energy sector.
