Namibian Girls Invited to Participate in Indian Satellite Space Project

Namibian girls have been called upon to be part of the elite Mission ShakthiSAT, an Indian satellite space mission. The program, organized by ISRO and Space Kidz India, will involve 12,000 brilliant girls from 108 nations, including Namibia. The initiative includes complete training in space technology and payload development, with the satellite launch into lunar orbit in September 2026. A girl from Namibia will be chosen for hands-on training in India, promoting global cooperation and encouraging young women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The initiative reflects India's dedication to international cooperation in space research and education.
