Kia India has officially revealed the new-generation 2026 Kia Seltos, marking a significant update to one of the country’s most popular mid-size SUVs. Since its debut in 2019, the Seltos has sold over 580,000 units in India, and the latest model aims to build on this success with a comprehensive design overhaul and advanced features.  

Key highlights from the announcement include  

• Expected starting price around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), with official pricing to be revealed on January 2, 2026.  
• Bookings opened on December 11 with an initial amount of Rs 25,000, and deliveries will begin mid-January.  
• The SUV now sits on Kia’s global K3 platform, offering improved structural rigidity and safety.  
• Exterior updates include a larger upright grille, sleeker LED headlamps, redesigned DRLs, new alloy wheels, and a reworked rear bumper.  
• Interior upgrades feature a dual-screen setup, premium materials, and enhanced connectivity options.  
• Variants include HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, and the top-spec X-Line, catering to diverse customer needs.  
• Powertrain options have been refined for better performance and efficiency, with petrol and diesel choices available.  
• Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), panoramic sunroof, and improved infotainment are among the standout features.  
• The SUV will compete with Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
