Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has inaugurated Ashoknagar's first-ever Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) center, marking a significant step forward for the region. This historic initiative, a collaboration of four major telecom companies—Airtel, Jio, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL—aims to create local employment opportunities and establish Ashoknagar as a hub on India's IT map.
Scindia highlighted the transformative potential of the center, which will enable local youth to work for global companies without the need to migrate to larger cities. The center is expected to provide jobs to 250 individuals initially, with plans to expand this number to over 1,000 within a year. The project reflects the government's commitment to fostering regional development and empowering local talent.
This initiative not only enhances employment prospects but also positions Ashoknagar as a key player in India's digital and IT landscape.
