Independent pop artist Keshav Tyohar has officially signed with India's iconic music label Saregama, marking a significant milestone in his artistic journey. As part of this collaboration, Keshav unveils his reinterpretation of Yeh Shaam Mastani, offering a deeply personal and contemporary take on the beloved classic.

A master of mixing pop, electronic, and Hindustani classical influences with ease, Keshav brings raw, introspective energy to this rendition of Yeh Shaam. Far from a re-tread, the track offers a stripped-back, emotionally charged reinterpretation that brings the melody to a new generation.

Keshav originally gained fame as the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs Season 5 first runner-up in 2015, grabbing headlines throughout India at the tender age of 13. The last decade has seen him develop a dedicated fan base as a solo artist with a reputation for penning, producing, and releasing music that exhibits his unique sonic style.

Talking about the release, Keshav revealed that Yeh Shaam Mastani has always been a personal favorite of his, something that brought back memories and ageless magic. He remembered thinking of his version while it was a golden-hour evening, listening to the original in the background. A passing, cinematic moment of silent bonding led him to integrate the song into his own narrative.

Siddharth Anand Kumar of Saregama, the Senior Vice President, was thrilled with Keshav's accession to the label, underlining his skills in carrying tradition forward with present-day expression. The song has already struck a chord with fans, garnering over 100,000 hits within days of coming out, with listeners hailing its new approach to the R.D. Burman classic.

With this release, Keshav Tyohar reaffirms his position as one of the most promising young artists transforming the sound of contemporary Indian music.
