Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a major ₹28 billion interstate transmission system (ISTS) project in Gujarat to supply renewable energy to green hydrogen production plants. The project, titled "Transmission system for supply of power to Green hydrogen/ammonia manufacturing potential in Mundra area of Gujarat under Phase-I: Part B1 scheme," will offer 3,000 MW capacity to future green hydrogen plants in the Mundra area.
The purchase of this project has further increased AESL's impressive order book, which is now around ₹575.61 billion. This is over a threefold increase from April 2024, when the order book was at ₹170 billion.
AESL's increasing market share in tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) orders has increased to 24%, making it a leader in India's private transmission industry.
