AI Meets Infrastructure – Magellanic Cloud's Subsidiary Provigil Surveillance Lights Up Toll Plazas and Schools Across India

Magellanic Cloud Ltd today disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has acquired two contracts of significant significance, demonstrating a strong growth trend in the surveillance technology sector.

The first purchase order of Rs. 45 lakhs has come from the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society. The project involves the installation and operationalization of Video Management System (VMS) software on the basis of AI analytics for e-surveillance systems for CCTV at 14 locations of educational institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The project is for improving safety and security in the residential institutions through better monitoring.

The bigger and second one is from Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), a National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project. Provigil Surveillance Ltd has received a purchase order of about Rs. 32 crores, which can be extended up to Rs. 75 crores. The order for the implementation of an Audit Camera System in eight states of Zone 1 toll plazas has been received. The systems will enable real-time counting and classification of vehicles, improving toll plaza management, accuracy of data, and traffic monitoring efficiency.

Magellanic Cloud Ltd clarified that the promoters and group related parties have no stake in the awarding organizations and that these contracts are not related party transactions.
