Dubai’s pioneering “AI Seal” certification, launched in January 2025 by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), is rapidly setting a new global standard for trustworthy artificial intelligence. In just four months, 325 companies-including 77 international offices-have applied for the seal, which verifies transparency, accountability, and reliability in AI solutions across sectors like health, property, and media. Major global players such as e& and IBM were among the first to receive the top “Tier S” certification, highlighting strong industry interest and Dubai’s regulatory leadership.

The AI Seal is already compulsory for all government AI projects, and it gives certified firms a competitive edge and enhances buyer trust. Every certified firm is also given a serial number and tier, with the highest scores being awarded to those with the most significant economic and technological value. The initiative, launched at Dubai AI Week, places Dubai on the map as a worldwide model of AI trust and innovation.
