On its eighth day, Kantara Chapter 1 collected an estimated ₹18.69 crore net, bringing its total domestic tally to ₹334.94 crore.

The prequel’s Hindi-dubbed version crossed ₹100 crore net, while the Kannada original and Telugu version earned close to ₹99 crore and ₹60 crore net respectively.
Kantara Chapter 1’s overseas gross has crossed $8 million, helping the worldwide total soar beyond ₹450 crore, placing it among the top-grossing Indian films globally.
