Amgen India's Tech Hub Expansion: From 300 to 2000+ Employees by Year-End
Amgen India's Hyderabad-based Technology and Innovation Centre is growing rapidly, with huge recruitment plans in place, announced by the company's national executive. The center, which is currently staffed by 300 individuals, is going to induct another 300 employees soon. But the growth does not end there - by the end of the year, Amgen India will have more than 2,000 individuals working in the facility.
This aggressive expansion is in line with Amgen's vision for the Hyderabad center, which will go on stream in Q4 2024 and has an overall capacity for 3,000 staff. The center will be housed in six floors of the RMZ Spire Tower in HITEC City.
Som Chattopadhyay, who has been appointed as the national executive of Amgen India, is managing this growth. The centre will be working on priority areas such as AI, data science, and life sciences, strengthening Amgen's global digital strength and driving its medicine pipeline.
