In response to escalating tensions along the India-Pakistan border, the Andhra Pradesh government has launched a dedicated control room at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi to assist residents traveling or residing in affected regions. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the initiative, ensuring timely support for citizens in Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh.
The control room will operate round-the-clock, providing guidance, emergency assistance, and real-time updates. Officials have been instructed to maintain constant communication with central agencies and state governments to monitor developments closely.
Residents facing travel difficulties or safety concerns can reach out through designated helplines, with senior officials overseeing operations to ensure swift response times. The government has urged citizens to remain vigilant and follow official advisories while traveling in border areas.
The move comes amid heightened security concerns, including reports of ceasefire violations and drone activity along the western border. Andhra Pradesh authorities reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding residents and ensuring their well-being during this period of uncertainty.
