Aurobindo Pharma is poised to finalize its strategic investment in Swarnaaskshu Solar Power Private Limited by June 30, 2025. The pharmaceutical giant will acquire up to 26% stake in Swarnaaskshu, a company currently under incorporation, for approximately ₹10.40 crore. This move aligns with Aurobindo's sustainability goals, as the company aims to purchase solar power under Telangana's captive power policy. The 30 MW AC (40 MW DC) solar plant in Telangana will boost Aurobindo's renewable energy portfolio, supporting its target of achieving a 20% share of renewable energy by 2025. This acquisition marks a significant step in Aurobindo's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and embracing clean energy solutions.
