Baburao Bids Goodbye: Paresh Rawal Steps Away from ‘Hera Pheri 3’-No Drama, Just Dosti

Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has officially quit much-awaited comedy sequel 'Hera Pheri 3' putting off talk of on-set fisticuffs. Rawal, who is best known for portraying Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, shot down rumors in a social media message, "I once again reiterate that there is no creative disagreement. My decision to leave is personal and friendly."

 

The actor has thanked fans and the crew of the film to ensure that his departure does not result from any disagreement with co-stars Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty or producers. Rawal's departure draws the curtains on the age of the franchise, with fans saddened and rounding up behind him. The producers have not announced a substitute for the popular character yet, but production of 'Hera Pheri 3' will continue as scheduled.
