Balaji Amines Limited, a leading specialty chemical manufacturer, has announced that the Directorate of Industries, Government of Maharashtra has granted an Eligibility Certificate under the Package Scheme of Incentives-2013 for its Unit-4 expansion project at Chincholi MIDC, Solapur.
The certificate, dated January 2, 2026 and received on January 7, 2026, qualifies the company for substantial benefits under the Mega Projects category. These include Industrial Promotion Subsidy (IPS) of ₹25,800.87 lakh, calculated at 50% of SGST payable on eligible finished products sold in Maharashtra. Additionally, the company will enjoy electricity duty exemption and 100% stamp duty exemption for a period of seven years, from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2030.
This incentive package is expected to significantly strengthen Balaji Amines’ expansion plans, reduce operational costs, and enhance competitiveness in the specialty chemicals sector.
