Bandhan Bank has strengthened its pan-India presence with the opening of nine new branches across three states. The expansion includes one branch in Kolkata and eight others in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, inaugurated virtually. This strategic move brings Bandhan Bank's total banking outlets to over 6,300 nationwide. West Bengal remains a crucial market, now hosting 1,720 outlets. MD and CEO Partha Pratim Sengupta emphasized the bank's commitment to growth and improved customer service. The new branches align with Bandhan Bank's strategy to enhance its presence in key states critical for retail and SME lending operations, further solidifying its position in the Indian banking sector.
