BCL Industries Wins LoA to Supply 5.9 Million Litres of ENA, Strengthens Position in Grain-Based Distillery Segment

 BCL Industries Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Rajasthan State Ganganagar Sugar Mills Ltd for the supply of 5.9 million litres of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA). The order will be fulfilled from the company’s Bathinda distillery over a six-month period, with an option for the buyer to procure an additional 50 percent volume.

  • The LoA was issued on November 26, 2024, following BCL’s participation in a competitive tender process.
  • ENA will be supplied from the company’s 700 KLPD grain-based distillery in Bathinda, Punjab.
  • The buyer retains the right to increase the order size by 50 percent, potentially taking the total supply to 8.85 million litres.

  • BCL Industries is one of India’s largest agro-processing firms, with a strong presence in ethanol, ENA, and IMIL segments.
  • The company previously completed a 5.3 million litre ENA order in February 2024 and expects to deliver 8 million litres by November 2024.
  • Its client base includes major bottlers such as Pernod Ricard, Amrut, ABD, and Mohan Meakin.

  • The company anticipates full capacity utilization of its distillery in FY25, targeting revenue of ₹1,750 crore.
  • BCL is also progressing on a 75 KLPD biodiesel facility in Bathinda, enhancing vertical integration and value addition.
  • Analysts expect the ENA order to boost Q3 and Q4 earnings, reinforcing BCL’s leadership in grain-based alcohol production.
