Bengaluru's Brainiac Bash: IISc Open Day 2025 Turns City into Genius Central

India's premier scientific research institute, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru, is hosting its annual Open Day today, March 2, 2025, from 9 am to 5 pm. The much-awaited event turns the campus into a treasure trove of scientific marvel, with interactive displays, hands-on experiments, and bleeding-edge research exhibitions in 42 departments. The attractions include a "Kids Zone" for kids, nanoscience demonstrations, and information on sustainable transport. The event, marking the birth anniversary of founder Jamsetji Tata, is designed to generate scientific interest and make research available to everyone. Admission is free, with electric vehicles for those who need help.
