Pune, January 16, 2026 , Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), part of the Kalyani Group, announced that its Aerospace Division has secured contracts worth ₹300 crores under the Emergency Procurement – VI (EP-VI) framework. These contracts, awarded for the Indian Army and Navy, cover a portfolio of indigenous unmanned systems including Omega One, Omega Nine, Bayonet, and Cleaver.
The Omega One platform was prominently displayed during the Army Day Parade in Jaipur on January 15, mounted on an upgraded BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle a strong validation of Bharat Forge’s capabilities in front of India’s defence leadership.
The company emphasized that these systems integrate advanced autonomy, artificial intelligence, and data driven decision making, enhancing endurance, precision, and survivability in contested environments. Vice Chairman & Joint Managing Director Amit Kalyani stated that the achievement reaffirms Bharat Forge’s commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat, equipping the Armed Forces with homegrown, EW-resistant unmanned solutions.
