Himalaya Food International Ltd has clinched a major export order worth $1 million for its French Fries, marking a significant milestone in the company's global expansion strategy.

Key Highlights:
  • The order comes from US Foods, one of the largest food service distributors in the United States, further strengthening Himalaya Food International’s presence in the lucrative American market.
  • The contract entails the supply of 75 containers, each loaded with 1,600 cartons of 30 lbs, totaling approximately 3.6 million pounds (1,633 metric tons) of French Fries.
  • Shipments will be dispatched weekly, starting with five containers scheduled for immediate delivery next week, and continuing through November 2025.
  • All products will be shipped under the Himalaya brand, with deliveries headed to US Foods’ distribution centers across multiple states in the U.S.
To ensure timely fulfillment and adherence to quality standards, Himalaya Food has partnered with a quality-certified manufacturing facility in Gujarat until its own French Fry production line becomes fully operational later this year.
The transaction is being managed by Himalaya International Inc. (DBA Global Food), the company’s US-based associate, which oversees logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance without charging any commercial margin.

This order is not a trial consignment but marks the beginning of a long-term commercial relationship with US Foods, reflecting strong confidence in Himalaya Food’s product quality and reliability.

The deal is expected to boost the company’s revenues, improve capacity utilization, and reinforce its position as a leading exporter of processed food products.
