Some of the top U.S. firms, such as Boeing, Apple, and GE, will participate in a major business mission to Vietnam next week. The group, arranged by the US-ASEAN Business Council, consists of more than 60 senior executives of leading U.S. corporations. The mission is to reinforce economic relationships as Vietnam considers lowering tariffs on U.S. imports. These include companies like Boeing and Apple, which have already established their presence in Vietnam, and others like Amazon and Bell Textron, which are seeking new avenues. The visit will entail interaction with senior Vietnamese officials, including Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, to talk about investment and trade possibilities.
