Bridgestone India Accelerates Hyderabad Expansion with Four New Select Stores

Bridgestone India has significantly strengthened its retail presence in Hyderabad by inaugurating four new Select outlets, bringing its total store count in the city to 46. This expansion is part of the company’s broader strategy to revolutionize the tyre buying and servicing experience for Indian consumers, particularly in key urban markets like Hyderabad.
 
The new Select stores are designed to offer a premium, interactive environment where customers can access expert guidance, personalized tyre recommendations, and hands-on demonstrations. Bridgestone’s focus is on educating customers about tyre care, safety, and the importance of making informed choices-empowering them to maximize the value and performance of their vehicles. The stores also provide a comprehensive range of Bridgestone’s latest products, including the Turanza 6i for electric vehicles and the Dueler A/T for SUVs, catering to the diverse needs of Hyderabad’s growing automotive market.
 
Hiroshi Yoshizane, Managing Director of Bridgestone India, emphasized Hyderabad’s importance as a strategic hub and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering superior products and services. Bridgestone currently commands a 20% share in the passenger car aftermarket segment and operates a network of over 3,200 dealers nationwide, including 820 Select outlets.
 
This retail expansion is supported by Bridgestone’s robust manufacturing capabilities in Indore and Pune, with plans underway to increase annual production capacity to 11.1 million tyres by 2029, backed by an $85 million investment. The company’s ongoing efforts underscore its ambition to lead the Indian tyre market through innovation, customer engagement, and service excellence.
