In a landmark move to foster academic diplomacy, O.P. Jindal Global University has inaugurated the Motwani Jadeja Institute for American Studies (MJIAS) in New York. The initiative aims to strengthen IndiaUS relations through education, research, and policy engagement.
 
Key Highlights From The Launch
  • MJIAS is backed by a USD 5 million endowment from Asha Jadeja Motwani and the Motwani Jadeja Family Foundation, marking one of the largest philanthropic contributions to American Studies in India.
  • The institute is named in honor of Professor Rajeev Motwani, the late Stanford computer scientist known for mentoring Google’s founders.
  • The launch event featured the release of JGU’s Sustainable Development Report 2025 and a Distinguished Public Lecture by global thought leaders.
