Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled a game-changing initiative for India's startup landscape in the Union Budget 2025. A new Fund of Funds with a fresh contribution of ₹10,000 crore will be established to supercharge the startup ecosystem. This move builds upon the success of previous government-backed investment initiatives, which have already garnered commitments exceeding ₹91,000 crore. The expanded scope of this fund aims to foster innovation, drive job creation, and propel India's position as a global tech hub. Startups can also expect improved access to credit, with loans ranging from ₹10 crore to ₹20 crore targeting key sectors of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
