ISRO has announced the second round of the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2025, calling on student teams from all over the country to address actual space-tech problems—entirely free of cost. The hackathon, being conducted in collaboration with Hack2Skill, is seeking to encourage innovation in AI, geospatial science, and satellite data among India's brightest minds.
Key Highlights:
No Registration Charges: Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students; group registration is for 3–4 students, even from other universities.
14 Real-World Challenges: Problem statements go beyond AI/ML, geospatial analysis, image processing, and space science.
Mentorship & Internships: Finalists are mentored by ISRO scientists and have a chance of winning internships and national awards.
Rigorous Selection: 140 teams will be shortlisted in the first round, with 30 advancing to the 30-hour Grand Finale at NRSC, Hyderabad, on August 7–8, 2025.
Proposal Due Date: Deadline for submission is July 7, 2025 (tentative).
