Dhanush’s latest film, Kuberaa, is proving to be a real crowd-puller. After just five days in theaters, it has already crossed the ₹60 crore mark in India, which is no small feat. The film’s momentum hasn’t slowed much since its strong opening weekend, and it looks like it’s set for a solid run.

Here’s what stands out about Kuberaa’s box office journey so far:

On day five (Tuesday), the movie brought in ₹5.5 crore across all languages in India, pushing its total to ₹60.90 crore.

The opening weekend was especially strong, with ₹14.75 crore on Friday, ₹16.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹17.35 crore on Sunday. Even with the usual dip on Monday and Tuesday, the film is holding up well.

Audiences in Telugu and Tamil regions are showing up in big numbers. On Tuesday, the Telugu version had about 26% occupancy, with evening shows drawing even more people.

The film stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil, and is directed by Sekhar Kammula. The cast’s chemistry and performances, especially Dhanush’s, are getting a lot of positive attention.
Chiranjeevi even praised Dhanush’s role, saying he deserves a National Award.

With no major competition at the box office right now, Kuberaa is likely to keep doing well in the coming days.
Kuberaa’s strong start and steady weekday numbers suggest it could become one of the year’s big hits if this pace continues.
