The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge with a U/A 16+ certificate and a runtime of 208 minutes (3 hours 28 minutes). The Ranveer Singh starrer is six minutes shorter than the first instalment and is set for theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
The much-awaited sequel to last year’s blockbuster Dhurandhar has received its certification from the CBFC. Titled Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, the film has been granted a U/A 16+ rating, making it suitable for audiences above 16 with parental guidance.
The runtime of 208 minutes makes the sequel slightly shorter than the first part, which ran for 214 minutes (3 hours 34 minutes). Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film continues the journey of Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh, as he transitions from Jaskirat Singh Rangi to a spy in Pakistan.
The film is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, and will clash at the box office with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Given the massive success of Dhurandhar (over ₹1,000 crore domestic box office), expectations for the sequel are sky-high.
