The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has reviewed 21 issues impacting 17 infrastructure projects across Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, and Jharkhand. The projects, valued at over Rs 13,501 crore, include nine under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Bhatia chaired a meeting with officials from central ministries, state governments, and project proponents to address these concerns. The Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Expressway project, worth Rs 9,623.72 crore, was also discussed, with seven issues across six packages under review. Bhatia urged authorities to take proactive measures in resolving pending issues to ensure smooth project implementation.
