Eicher Motors Limited has reported robust sales figures for April 2025, achieving total sales of 86,559 units-a 6% year-on-year increase from 81,870 units in April 2024. The growth was fueled by strong performances across both its iconic Royal Enfield motorcycle division and its commercial vehicle subsidiary, VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV).
Royal Enfield, the flagship motorcycle brand, contributed significantly with a 6% rise in total sales. Notably, motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc saw a remarkable 36% surge, reaching 12,277 units compared to 9,004 units last year. Models up to 350cc also posted steady gains, with 74,282 units sold. International sales were a highlight, soaring 55% to 10,557 units, underscoring Royal Enfield’s growing global appeal.
On the commercial vehicles front, VECV reported a 27.3% year-on-year increase, selling 6,846 units in April 2025. Domestic demand remained strong, and exports rose by 29.2%, reflecting a broad-based recovery in the segment.
With these results, Eicher Motors continues to strengthen its market position, driven by product innovation, expanding international reach, and a resilient demand environment.
