Filmfare Awards South 2026 Winners: Pushpa 2, Amaran, Kalki 2898 AD Shine

The star-studded Filmfare Awards South 2026 brought together the biggest names in southern cinema at Kochi’s Adlux International Convention Centre. Allu Arjun won Best Actor for Pushpa 2: The Rule, while Sukumar bagged Best Director for the blockbuster sequel. Amaran clinched seven awards in Tamil cinema, marking a historic sweep.  

In Malayalam cinema, Manjummel Boys won Best Film, while Prithviraj’s Aadujeevitham secured multiple honors. Rahul Sadasivan was recognized as Best Director for Bramayugam. Kannada cinema also saw strong representation, with Kishkindha Kaandam tying for Critics’ Best Film.  

A highlight of the evening was Amitabh Bachchan’s win for Best Supporting Actor in Kalki 2898 AD, underscoring the pan-Indian impact of the awards. The ceremony showcased the diversity and creative strength of South Indian cinema, reaffirming its growing influence on global audiences.
