Commodity Market Updates:
International commodity markets showed broad-based weakness, continuing the global downtrend seen yesterday. Gold is trading around $4,891/oz, down roughly 0.3%, while XAU/USD sits near $4,874, with modest selling pressure. Silver is weaker at about $72.47/oz, off more than 1.4%, and Copper is essentially flat around $5.6750/lb. In energy, Crude Oil WTI is near $62.14/barrel, slightly lower, and Brent has fallen further to about $67.36, down nearly 1.9%, reflecting continued demand concerns. Natural Gas is softer at around $3.03/MMBtu. The overall tone remains cautious with yesterday’s declines extending as traders weigh global economic data and supply outlooks.
