From Confidence to Change: ICAI Singapore’s Trailblazing Chairperson Redefines Women Empowerment

In an important advancement for the Indian Chartered Accountants community in Singapore, CA Anuradha Shroff has assumed the position of Chairperson of the ICAI Singapore Chapter for 2025-26. In announcing her role and following up on recent discussions, Shroff stated, "The reality of women empowerment is the confidence building and the change of mindset of society" in order to empower women professionals.

 

She further emphasized her approach: "Women empowerment is not just about opportunities; it is about instilling confidence and changing how society perceives women in leadership." Shroff continued to stress the importance of creating "safe spaces to share stories, to network, and to find mentors," which is an essential step in developing an environment where women professionals can "succeed in their personal and professional lives." 

 

With CA Shroff at the helm, the ICAI Singapore Chapter under her leadership will introduce targeted programs and knowledge-sharing provide women with the right tools and support to navigate the bustling business landscape.
