From India to Saudi: KEC’s Rs 1,174 Crore Power Play Boosts Global Grid Presence

KEC International, the RPG Group’s infrastructure arm, secured new Transmission & Distribution contracts worth Rs 1,174 crore across India and Saudi Arabia. The orders include major high-voltage transmission projects from private developers and reinforce KEC’s strong foothold in the Middle East. The company’s YTD order intake now stands at Rs 14,000 crore.

KEC International Ltd., one of India’s leading EPC majors and a part of the RPG Group, announced fresh order wins totalling Rs 1,174 crore in its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business. The contracts, secured both domestically and internationally, mark a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy for FY26.

Key highlights

The company won ±800 kV HVDC and 765 kV transmission line projects from a reputed private developer in India.
It secured 380 kV transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia, strengthening its leadership position in the Middle Easta market.
These orders push the company’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake to approximately Rs 14,000 crore.
The wins reflect KEC’s growing momentum and diversification, particularly in projects from private developers.
The new contracts are expected to boost revenue visibility and reinforce KEC’s leadership in high-voltage transmission infrastructure globally.

Commenting on the announcement, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd., said the consistent success of the T&D segment is a direct outcome of expanding order inflows from both domestic and international markets. He emphasized that the prestigious HVDC transmission contract notably increased the share of private sector orders within India’s portfolio, while the large-scale Saudi Arabia project further cemented its regional dominance.

KEC International now operates across six business verticals—Power Transmission & Distribution, Civil, Transportation, Renewables, Oil & Gas Pipelines, and Cables & Conductors—with operations spanning more than 110 countries. Its robust global presence and diversified project portfolio continue to drive sustainable growth amid rising infrastructure demand in emerging markets.

With this fresh batch of orders, KEC International reinforces its position as a global EPC powerhouse, well-placed to benefit from the ongoing energy and infrastructure transition in India and abroad.
