From Kiddie Cameos to Blockbuster Fame: Bollywood Stars Who Grew Up on Screen

Some of Bollywood's largest stars started out as child artists, charming audiences years prior to their blockbuster debuts. Alia Bhatt first appeared on screen as young Preity Zinta in Sangharsh (1999) at age six, years before her star-making turn in Student of the Year. Aamir Khan started his acting career as a child in Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), on his way to becoming one of India's most acclaimed actors. Hrithik Roshan, now renowned for action and dance, began with cameo roles in films like Aasha (1980) as a child. Others include Urmila Matondkar (Masoom), Sridevi (Thunaivan), and Kunal Khemu (Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke). The early start gave them a distinguishing edge, shaping their careers and making them household names.
