Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited has taken a significant leap in its manufacturing capabilities with the commissioning of two new facilities at the KIADB Aerospace Park, Bengaluru. The inauguration, led by the company’s founders, marks a milestone in Unimech’s strategic expansion and diversification journey.
The newly launched *Precision Engineering Facility (Unit 3), spread over approximately 33,000 sq. ft., is an extension of the existing Peenya unit. It will focus on producing high-precision components and systems catering to critical sectors like nuclear energy, aerospace, and oil & gas. Meanwhile, the newly established **Fabrication Facility (Unit 4)*, covering around 30,000 sq. ft., will manufacture advanced engine stands for LEAP Engines and other aero-engine programs, alongside self-elevating platforms for the domestic nuclear segment.
With this addition, Unimech’s total manufacturing footprint now extends to nearly 2,43,000 sq. ft., providing a solid foundation to scale operations, increase product variety, and meet diversified customer needs across global markets. The company expects this strategic expansion to strengthen its position as a key precision engineering and fabrication partner for both domestic and international clients.
