From Telecom to Triumph: Pace Digitek's Rs 17,750M Solar-BESS Jackpot Ignites Karnataka's Grid Future

Pace Digitek Limited has secured a Letter of Award from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) for a 250 MW solar PV project integrated with 1.1 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Pavagada Solar Park. Valued at Rs 17,750 million, this order elevates the company's order book to Rs 102,428 million, advancing India's renewable energy goals with peak power and grid stability.

 

Key Project Highlights

Pace Digitek, a leader in telecom infrastructure and energy EPC services, received this award through a competitive tariff-based bidding process (Tranche I). The project enhances Karnataka's grid utilization by enabling peak-hour power dispatch, aligning with national goals for solar power projects and battery energy storage systems. Chairman Venugopal Rao Maddisetty emphasized the firm's commitment to Make in India via 20% local content, including indigenous Energy Management System (EMS) software. This win elevates Pace Digitek's BESS portfolio to over 5 GWh, solidifying its role in India's green energy ecosystem. Order book now includes Rs 77,792 million in energy segment and Rs 24,637 million in telecom.
