Frozen Fury: Hailstorms Sweep Through Isolated Zones in HP, MP, and Maharashtra

Scattered hailstorms lashed parts of Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Madhya Maharashtra on May 7, with unexpected showers, gusty winds, and localized inconveniences. The India Meteorological Department has already issued an orange warning to the regions regarding the possible destruction of crops, trees, and buildings by hail and squalls. Weather officials indicate that these storms are part of a larger pattern of thunderstorms and unseasonable rain sweeping northwest and central India this week. Officials urge individuals to remain indoors during inclement weather, secure loose items, and look for official announcements for further advisories. Unsettled conditions will continue in some areas for the next few days, with more thunderstorms and scattered hail probable.
