Abu Dhabi-based G42, Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and US chipmaker Cerebras have partnered with India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to deploy an AI supercomputer in India. With 8 exaflops of compute capacity, the project will significantly boost India’s sovereign AI infrastructure.
A landmark collaboration was announced at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, where G42, MBZUAI, and Cerebras confirmed their partnership with India’s Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to establish a national-scale AI supercomputer. The system will deliver peak compute capacity of 8 exaflops, marking a transformative leap in India’s AI infrastructure.
The initiative follows the fifth India-UAE Strategic Dialogue in December 2025 and the visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to India in January 2026. The project underscores the strengthening of India-UAE technology ties and positions India as a hub for advanced AI research and innovation.
