GAIL Taps Rajasthan Gas Fields in 15-Year Supply Pact with Oil India

GAIL India Ltd signed a long-term deal for the purchase of up to 900,000 standard cubic meters per day (SCMD) of natural gas from Rajasthan's Oil India's Bakhri Tibba block. The deal, effective from July 1, 2025, is a strategic enhancement to local energy supply and infrastructure utilization.

The deal is for 15 years and offers constant gas supply to a state electricity board-owned power plant based in Rajasthan.

The Bakhri Tibba block will be the primary source for this distribution.
