GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business has won multi-million dollar orders from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for 765 kV shunt reactors. These critical components will enhance grid stability and efficiency, supporting India's ambitious renewable energy integration goals. The reactors, to be manufactured at GE T&D India's Vadodara plant, are scheduled for delivery in 2025-26. This collaboration aligns with India's target of achieving 50% non-fossil fuel power generation capacity by 2030. The project will focus on key regions like Rajasthan and Karnataka, strengthening the national electricity transmission infrastructure.
