Gill, Sudharsan Steal Spotlight as Gujarat Titans Clinch IPL 2025 Playoff Spot with Commanding Win

Gujarat Titans became the first side to seal an IPL 2025 playoffs spot with an unosaught 10-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Star openers Shubman Gill (93*) and Sai Sudharsan (108*) guided the chase with a fluent partnership, scoring 200+ runs with six deliveries to spare. Sudharsan's hundred was match-winning clinic, whereas Gill's relentless knock kept the chase intact.

 

Earlier, Gujarat bowlers restricted Capitals to 199/3, with Arshad Khan getting an early wicket to dismiss Faf du Plessis. This win sees GT occupy the top position in the points table with 18 points from 12 games, cementing their title favorites status. The duo's brilliance overshadowed a resilient century by KL Rahul for Delhi, with the well-balanced team effort of GT seeing them qualify for the playoffs with comfort.
