Grasim Industries, the Aditya Birla Group flagship, reported a standalone net loss of ₹1.69 billion for Q3 FY25, significantly exceeding the IBES estimated loss of ₹805.5 million. Despite a 27% year-on-year revenue growth to ₹8,120.3 crore, the company's profitability was impacted by investments in new businesses, particularly paints and B2B e-commerce. The Viscose Staple Fibre segment saw 6% revenue growth, but EBITDA declined 18% due to higher input costs. Grasim's shares closed 1.39% lower at ₹2,453 on NSE following the results announcement.
