Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) shares tumbled 4.5% in early trade following disappointing Q3 FY25 results. The infrastructure giant reported a consolidated net loss of ₹38.92 crore, compared to a profit of ₹233 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue fell sharply to ₹1,006.8 crore from ₹1,474.5 crore, largely due to the divestment of its international subsidiary. The company's standalone E&C turnover dropped to ₹1,002 crore, while EBITDA margin improved to 14.7%. Despite securing new orders worth ₹1,032 crore and bidding for projects totaling ₹17,679 crore, investors remain cautious about HCC's near-term prospects.
