As India's largest NBFC IPO looms large on the horizon, HDB Financial Services guarantees the investors of its autonomy and regulatory resilience.
As a precursor to its ₹12,500 crore IPO, HDB Financial Services has declared a strong position dissociating its operating model from parent HDFC Bank. The management of the company emphasized that it is not dependent on HDFC Bank to initiate business and would be insulated from the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) proposed norms on bank-subidiary relationships—if implemented in their current form.
