Do you have an interest in fair AI and healthier online communities? New_ Public, a non-profit R&D collective that is rebuilding digital public spaces, is now looking for an AI Fellow for a part-time, paid contract from July to December 2025. It's an exciting opportunity that puts you at the center of efforts to make the internet more inclusive, democratic, and human-centered.
 
About the Role
The AI Fellow will collaborate with New_Public's innovative staff very closely in order to investigate and apply AI solutions that involve the firm's mission. Some of the duties include determining workflows for AI integration, conducting rapid AI tests, recording learnings, preparing internal AI policies, and assisting staff in embracing new technologies.
 
Who to Apply
Dream candidates have experience working with AI software (no coding abilities required). They have strong organizational development background and people-oriented orientation. The job requires creativity, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. It is remote (US or Canada), paid $40/hour, and 20–25 hours a week are required.
