Helpline Lifeline: AIP Launches Numbers to Support LoC Residents Amid Rising Tensions

Amid rising tensions on the Line of Control (LoC), the Awami Itihad Party (AIP) launched exclusive helpline numbers to help citizens of border villages of Jammu and Kashmir. The scheme covers vulnerable sections of people in Karnah, Machil, Keran, Jumagand, Uri, Gurez, Tulail, Bagtore, Tangmarg, and Gulmarg, distributing emergency relief, coordination of relief, and chief assistance to persons displaced or under the threat of regular shelling and troop movements. AIP has sent volunteer teams to offer prompt relief, requesting the affected families to dial helplines for immediate relief. The move comes as thousands are left confused and disrupted, and the party appeals for solidarity and humanitarian action at this hour of crisis.
