ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (NSE: ACMO.NS) has commissioned an additional 3.3 MW of wind power capacity from its Pokhran wind project, reaffirming its commitment to growing India's renewable energy base. The commissioning contributes to the company's growing portfolio of clean energy assets and supports its long-term decarbonization strategy.
1. Project Highlights

The 3.3 MW expansion is part of ACME's overall 50 MW Pokhran wind power development on a phased basis.

Turbines employed in the project are Envision 3.3 MW with high efficiency and reliability for low-wind conditions.

Power is recovered at a 33/220 kV grid point and evacuated by a distinct 220 kV transmission line to the Shapar substation.
2. Strategic Importance

Adding this, ACME's total operational renewable capacity is 2,731.4 MW, divided among solar, wind, and hybrid projects.

Pokhran project is funded by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and enjoys a support for a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL).

The infrastructure will also support ACME's upcoming 100 MW wind project, which is in advanced stages of development.
