Highway Infrastructure Ltd has inked a ₹25.26 crore deal with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for operating and maintaining toll plazas along an eight-lane section of the Delhi–Vadodara Expressway in Rajasthan. The contract, finalized on October 17, 2025, is to be executed within 90 days.
Highway Infrastructure Ltd has received and formally executed a Letter of Award and Acceptance from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a new operations contract along the Delhi–Vadodara Expressway (DVE), marking a key milestone in its highway management portfolio expansion.
The contract covers toll operations and upkeep of associated facilities across an eight-lane access-controlled expressway stretch between Laban Village in Bundi district and Gopalpura Village in Kota district, Rajasthan — a segment extending from Km 337.171 to Km 417.810, encompassing Packages 12 to 14 of the DVE.
Under this agreement, Highway Infrastructure will be responsible for user fee collection and operational management at the toll plazas located at both ends — Laban and Gopalpura — as well as for the maintenance of adjacent facilities including toilet blocks and related consumables, ensuring smooth and efficient service for travelers along the corridor.
The total contract value stands at ₹25,26,30,000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Crores Twenty-Six Lakhs Thirty Thousand only), with a stipulated execution period of 90 days from the date of signing. The formal Contract Agreement was entered on October 17, 2025.
This engagement by NHAI represents another domestic infrastructure operations award for Highway Infrastructure, reaffirming its growing presence in India’s national highway network. The Delhi–Vadodara Expressway is part of the larger Delhi–Mumbai Expressway project — one of India’s flagship infrastructure developments aimed at enhancing connectivity, transportation efficiency, and regional trade links.
